Web widget and external channels

Set up the web chat (WhapiBot) and WhapiPress from Conexiones > Canales Externos.

Requirements

The Canales Externos tab in Conexiones only appears if your plan includes WhapiBot.

You also need at least one AI agent created in WhapiBot. Without agents, the tab shows a notice that you must create one before configuring channels.

What it is for

Integrate:

  • WhapiBot (web chat) — embeddable widget for your site
  • WhapiPress — WordPress plugin

Each channel is defined with domain/URL, secret, and associated agent. Your plan sets the external channel limit.

Create and configure

  1. Add an external channel (using the create control on the tab).
  2. Associate domain, secret, and agent.
  3. Use Configurar widget for appearance, suggested messages, and web chat options.
  4. Copy the embed script the platform generates and paste it on your site (or configure WhapiPress with the same data).

In Chats

Widget conversations appear in Chats with the widget / web chat channel type, and you can handle them like any other lead.
