Connect WhatsApp Lite via QR code
Link a number with WhatsApp Lite from Conexiones by scanning the QR code.
Where it is
In the panel go to Conexiones and open the WhatsApp Lite tab.
Add a connection
- Click Agregar Conexión (Add Connection) (or the create button in the top bar of that tab).
- Complete the connection name in the modal and save.
- On the card, when the status is QR Code (
qrcode), click Código QR (QR Code). - The QR code modal opens. Scan the code with WhatsApp on your phone (linked devices).
Session statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
Conectado (CONNECTED) | Active session; you can send and receive. |
Desconectado (DISCONNECTED) | Inactive session. Use Reconectar (Reconnect) or Nuevo QR (New QR). |
QR Code (qrcode) | You must scan the code to link the phone. |
Intermediate statuses such as Conectando (Connecting), Timeout, or history sync may also appear.
If it disconnects
- Open Conexiones → WhatsApp Lite.
- On the card, use Reconectar or Nuevo QR.
- Scan again if the system asks you to.
Notes
- WhatsApp Lite uses a QR session (Baileys), different from WhatsApp Business (Cloud API / WABA).
- The connection limit depends on your plan.
