Connect your WhatsApp Business number

Link your phone line to the WhatsApp Cloud API through whapi.chat.

Prerequisites

  • A phone number not linked to another WhatsApp Business API account.
  • Access to the phone to receive the verification code.
  • A verified Meta Business account (recommended).

Connection process

  1. In the dashboard, go to Settings > WhatsApp > Connect number.
  2. Enter your number with country code (e.g. +51 999 888 777).
  3. Choose the verification method: SMS or phone call.
  4. Enter the code you receive and confirm.

After connecting

Your number will be active in whapi.chat. Incoming messages will appear in the shared inbox. If you migrate from the WhatsApp Business app, local history is not transferred, but new conversations will be centralized.
